The Human Horizon

Further to delivering a strong environmental message, this body of work aims to provoke thought on a deep, philosophical level. It encourages the viewer to see their environment as an extension of themselves. Each of the works in the series is titled to indicate a certain aspect of our relationship with our environment, and in turn, with ourselves.

Animal allegories are prevalent though this body of work, reflecting on our relationship with the natural world. By including portraits of humans and animals as equals, this series observes humanity’s perceived importance over animals and the natural environment, aiming to flip the narrative.
